Life & Thinking

Hi.  This holiday weekend, I drove to Utah.  It was a six hour trip.  I drove from Phoenix to the edge of Northern Arizona.  It was an amazing drive.  I got to see the Navajo Indians and the landscape of this great state. But, I also got to think about my life. 

Since I have been dating and relying on my girlfriends to take me out or to arrange a date, I have lost myself. 

Before, the series of dating so many people, I would do everything I wanted to do, but I still had friends to talk too.  I used to take road trips all the time by myself to think and to clear my mind. 

So, on this road trip, I got to clear my mind and understand where I am headed. 

I have lost myself.  People have been making so many decisions for me and all I do is said "yes". 

I love my life and the people who are in it, but I lost myself in the mix and what I am all about. 

I remember when I was young, my family wanted me to act a certain way. I was never myself.  When I moved to Arizona, I saw freedom to express myself, but then it got lost. 

It's true, people just loose themselves and then they wake up and see a strange life that they lived. It's crazy but true. 

We need to take control of ourselves and figure out what we want to do with it. 

I have been searching and searching for the next big thing in life and forgot about what I want in life. 

Slowly, I am coming back to my senses and loving it.  I'm talking to this girl over the phone.  She seems to be cool but I don't know.  I am just going live and see where life takes me.  

I have some control over my life and I'm so happy.  Sometimes, it good to take a road trip by yourself to think and to clear your mind because you never know who you will meet and what thoughts will pop into your mind.
